This work was written for and premiered by the Australian Trumpet Elite, a talented group of select high school students from all over Australia, during the 2010 International Trumpet Guild Conference in Sydney, Australia. A fantastically exciting and fun work to play and listen to, Trumpet Mambo calls for 12 B-flat trumpets, percussion, timbales, and electric bass guitar. It will rock the house! Difficulty: V+ Duration: ca. 5:00 (NOTE: Trumpet 1 includes jazz trumpet solo ad lib.)
